The Challenge

Server assembly draws on hundreds of high-mix components on a schedule that has to match the line's QC testing rhythm — inside a fixed line-side footprint. MiTAC's team was up against:

The Solution

MiTAC partnered with Unitech to redesign its line-side warehouse around Geekplus's PopPick Lite shelf-to-person solution — letting shelves come to the operator instead of the other way around.

Picking logic: "Tote processing now takes just 10 seconds, boosting feeding efficiency by 4 times," Jack said.
