Order Picking

Focus On Immediate Order Response
Integrated with a PopPick workstation and a vertical seeding wall, this build is designed for discrete picking operations. It has the capacity to process 20+ concurrent orders.  Completed picks are transported directly to the packing station, removing the secondary sorting process. This build is optimally suited for scenarios demanding extreme timeliness and characterized by fragmented, high-frequency orders, as it drastically reduces the processing lifecycle per order.

Batch Picking

Focus On Efficiency-Optimized Processing
This build is engineered for efficiency through a consolidated order handling workflow. The process involves a primary "batch-pick" wave for like-items, followed by a secondary "order sortation" stage. This solution is best suited for operational environments characterized by concentrated order volumes and high material/common item repetition, and where a degree of pre-processing lead time is permissible to achieve superior total operational efficiency.

FAQs

What is the Geek+ Robot Arm Picking Station and how does it work? +

The Geek+ Robot Arm Picking Station is an automated piece-picking workstation designed to integrate seamlessly with the Geek+ Tote-To-Person Solution. Using a robotic arm, vision system, and intelligent software, it performs highly accurate 24/7 picking tasks. The system supports both order picking and batch picking workflows and automatically adapts to new SKUs, making it ideal for fast-moving operations.

What efficiency improvements can the Robot Arm Picking Station deliver? +

The system delivers 3–6× higher productivity compared to manual picking. By automating repetitive piece-picking tasks and eliminating secondary sorting in certain setups, it significantly reduces order processing time. It provides continuous, unmanned operations that improve throughput and reduce labor dependency.

What industries benefit most from robot-powered picking automation? +

The solution is widely used across multiple industries that require fast, accurate, and scalable fulfillment, including:

  • E-commerce & Retail
  • Grocery & Pharmaceutical
  • Manufacturing
These industries benefit from higher accuracy, faster order response times, and the ability to handle fragmented, high-frequency or repetitive order patterns.
What industries can benefit from Geekplus intralogistics solutions? +
  • Order Picking (Immediate Response Focus):
Integrated with PopPick and seeding walls, this setup can process 20+ orders concurrently and routes picked items directly to packing. It is ideal for operations with urgent, fragmented, high-frequency orders.
  • Batch Picking (Efficiency-Optimized):
This model groups similar SKUs into batch waves and performs a secondary sortation step. Best for high-volume environments with recurring or high-frequency common items, allowing for maximum overall operational efficiency.

How quickly can Geekplus solutions be deployed in my warehouse? +

Yes. Geek+ provides a PL-d level functional safety solution, certified by TÜV Rheinland. A dedicated safety R&D team ensures that every workstation meets strict safety standards. The system includes integrated safety controls, protection zones, and compliance with global industrial safety requirements.

How does the software platform support robot arm picking operations? +

The Robot Arm Picking Station is powered by the Geekplus Software Suite, which includes:

  • RAPS (Robot Arm Picking Station System)
  • RMS (Robot Management & Scheduling)
  • WES (Warehouse Execution System)

It offers:

  • Real-time dashboards and 3D visualization
  • Seamless integration with WMS/ERP/MES via REST API and Webhooks
  • Cloud or on-prem deployment
  • 24/7 monitoring and IT support
  • Open interfaces and multilingual support

Can the Robot Arm Picking Station scale with business growth? +

Absolutely. The solution is designed for modular scalability. Businesses can expand capacity by adding more robot arms, P40 robots, or picking stations based on demand. Integration with existing warehouse software enables smooth scaling with minimal operational disruption.
